Mr. Jobs, Domino's Calling →
An excellent piece of insight by Gedeon Maheux (the guy behind the Iconfactory) in regards to how Apple’s App Store approval process could become less of a waiting game of disappointment for rejected apps by taking a look at a company that sells pizza.
The Apple Rumour Debunk - 13th August, 2009
OS X Snow Leopard Install Process Changes Described? Verdict: True - To me, this just makes plain and simple sense. The last time I used Rosetta was for Office for Mac 2004 when I first got a Mac. It was a very useful feature during the times of the Power PC to Intel chip transition and made the whole situation (which was very beneficial to the Mac) less of a pain in the neck. OS 10.6 can’t...
A new thing I'm doing - 'The Rumour Debunk'
Every week I’m going to post links to well publicised Apple rumours and tell you whether or not I believe them to be true or false, giving reasons why.
Rumours in general tend to be perceived to be true to early and eagerly by the people that hear/read them. The problem with this in regards to Apple is that it could potentially lead to a disaster. If people’s expectations, influenced...

Apple: "It's a good job AT&T didn't like it."
So it was confirmed that AT&T were the ones to blame for the Google Voice rejection on the App Store. I’m not surprised by this fact at all to be brutally honest. AT&T don’t want to lose money do they? If Apple were to accept an app on the iPhone which allowed free SMS and cheaper long-distance calls than the actual carrier of the device it ran on, it’s easy to see why AT&T wouldn’t be...
The Google Voice Scandal.
Well, what a few days can do to spark off the whole ‘The App Store is not a democratic state!’ fiasco, moving it into a whole new realm. Before, in other controversial App Store matters, people have stood at the sidelines shaking their heads disapprovingly, which used to annoy me to a degree as while Apple’s PR took a bit of knock for a week or so, they never seemed to learn there lesson from it....
The radio silence shall end.
Urhh Hi,
To me, making an excuse up about how I’ve been too busy to write anything here at GABA would just not be right. The fact is, I haven’t been bothered to write anything. I’ve finished college, it’s summer, and I have friends. Simple as that.
I’m just letting you know now this is all about to change. I’ve got a good few things to talk about regarding the...

How one guy with 'Find My iPhone' looked totally... →
If I used my iPhone, I would have piece of mind knowing I have this service available to me. I’m not sure how 1st gen iPhone users, if there are any left apart from me, will benefit though in situations where cell triangulation isn’t available (And before you ask, yes there are a lot of places where I’ve found it doesn’t work) as well as when the phone has no signal at...
My First Mac Annoyance - The QuickTime Player
This is a post I made on my personal blog in March 2008.
Today I came to another notable moment in my life. That being that I have finally found something so utterly annoying on my Mac that I can feel I can have a good talk about it. This said ‘something’ is the infamous QuickTime.
I’ve never had a problem with QuickTime up until today (well, yesterday technically since I’m up at all hours...

This blog is a site entirely devoted to my own views and news (ha, it rhymes) on Apple consumer technology. Separated away from my personal blog for more lengthy posts about the subject, it will help me make a more subject orientated blog with ‘real’ content.
